April 20 2009, A little tilt showing as the snow under the float melts off... SOON!!

April 17, 2009 A very windy day. I was surprised to see the float was still in place in the evening when I took this. The smaller ponds broke up in the wind.

April 19, 2009 I am told that the shoreline edge still freezes most evenings. The first two ponds are pretty much ice free at this point.
